6 trainees sent out to healthcare facility following school bus crash in New Bedford

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE)– 7 individuals, consisting of 6 trainees were sent out to the healthcare facility following a crash including a school bus Thursday.

New Bedford cops stated the bus was bring trainees from Global Knowing Charter Public School when it was struck by another lorry right before 5:00 P.M.

The bus was taking a trip north on Ashley Blvd. when it was T-boned by a lorry at the crossway of Chafee St, cops stated.

According to Lt. Scott Carola, 6 trainees and the bus motorist were given the healthcare facility with small injuries.

Worldwide Charter principal Lena Pires stated there had to do with 30 trainees on the bus at the time of the crash and the staying trainees were detected website by their moms and dads.

The motorist of the other lorry is being mentioned for a stop-sign infraction.
