Travel hold-ups most likely with Path 146 bridge demolition

NORTH PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI)– Anybody anticipating to be on Path 146 in the coming nights need to provide themselves some additional travel time.

The Rhode Island Department of Transport (RIDOT) states to anticipate slower travel in both instructions as teams destroy the Twin River Roadway and Breakneck Hill Roadway bridges in North Providence.

The demolitions are prepared for Sunday, Monday and Tuesday nights from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.

The bridges will be taken apart and rebuilt in 2 phases, according to RIDOT.
