Providence Public Schools acknowledged for sustainable electronic devices efforts


PROVIDENCE– The Infotech Department of the Providence Public Schools just recently got a 2022 Electronic Item Environmental Evaluation Tool Buyer Award for its management in sustainable electronic devices.

The awards, handled by the not-for-profit International Electronic devices Council, are provided to companies that “effectively resolve the lifecycle effects of electronic devices that the district purchases,” consisting of computer systems, cellular phones, photo copiers and tvs, the school district stated in a declaration.
