PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WHDH) – A Providence law enforcement officer and prospect for Rhode Island state senate was put on administrative leave Saturday after apparently attacking his political challenger at a demonstration in the wake of the turnaround of Roe v. Wade, the department revealed.
