McKee to reveal brand-new kid tax refund for qualified Rhode Island families

NEWPORT, R.I. (WLNE)– Gov. Dan McKee will reveal a brand-new kid tax refund Tuesday for qualified families in Rhode Island.

In June, McKee signed the state spending plan which provided a targeted tax relief to households, consisting of a strategy to use kid tax refunds.

The Rhode Island Kid Tax offers refunds of $250 per kid for approximately 3 kids.

The refund likewise needs that “Rhode Island citizens make up to $100,000 for a private and $200,000 for joint filers.”

According to the guv’s workplace, the strategy would support almost 110,000 households in the state.

McKee will be signed up with by Newport Mayor Jeanne-Marie Napolitano, Sen. Lou DiPalma, and Rep. Lauren Carson.

The statement will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the Florence Gray Center in Newport.
