Lady stuck on hood of speeding vehicle for 3 miles– Boston News, Weather Condition, Sports


PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WHDH) – A female holds on to the hood of a cars and truck that she tried to stop the motorist from leaving the scene of a crash, speeding down a Rhode Island highway. The motorist is now dealing with charges, according to authorities.

Authorities stated the event begun with an auto accident on Exchange Street. The 26-year-old lady informed the authorities she attempted to stop the male from leaving the scene of the crash. The male then removed with her hand captured in between the hood and the windscreen wipers.

The lady stated she had the ability to release her other hand while on the vehicle to call 911 while the vehicle was still in movement.

The lady was found on the hood of the vehicle by a couple while on the highway. The couple attempted to assist the lady by following the vehicle and taking video of the event, however he would not stop

According to authorities, the vehicle took a trip onto Path 6 and 10, both highways filled with building and construction, ending a number of miles away on Union Opportunity and Althea Street. When the authorities overtook the vehicle, the lady was still on the hood.

Authorities detained 47-year-old Keith Beard. Authorities stated he is dealing with a list of charges consisting of, driving to threaten leading to accident, felony attack and battery and driving on a suspended license.

Authorities stated that the lady left with only small injuries to her hand.
