Guv McKee commemorates 33rd yearly Bay Day, complimentary parking at state beaches

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)– Guv Dan McKee rode from Providence to Narragansett on an electrical RIPTA bus in event of the 33rd yearly Guv’s Bay Day on Sunday.

Previously today, the Guv signed an executive order to continue the custom of Guv’s Bay Day. The order uses Rhode Islanders a complimentary day of the beach and parking at all state beaches.

RIPTA likewise used complimentary roundtrip service on the Path 6 Express Beach Bus.

Charlestown Breachway, East Beach in Charlestown, Roger Wheeler Sate Beach, Salty Salt Water Beach, Scarborough North and South, East Matunuck, and Misquamicut beaches were all given complimentary parking for the day.
