GLOCESTER, R.I. (WHDH) – Authorities in Glocester, Rhode Island are advising moms and dads to check their kids’ Halloween carries this year after they took lots of THC-infused edibles that might quickly be misinterpreted for kids’ treats.

The department composed on Facebook that, throughout a traffic stop, they took over 200 separately covered edibles with names like “Cocoa Pebbles Krispie Bar,” “Trix Krispie Bar” and “Rice Krispies Deals With.” Each of them was emblazoned with a lookalike color combination, logo design and mascot to the initial motivation. Upon closer evaluation, Fred Flintstone and the Trix bunny on the plans have red, drooping eyes. The Trix and Cocoa Pebbles bags have a big caution on the bottom of the bundle about their THC material.

” With Halloween showing up, we wished to share this to the neighborhood,” the department composed. “These deals with can quickly be misinterpreted for the popular name brand name treats that you might acquire in the shop. Constantly check your kid’s sweet prior to enabling them to consume it! Thank you & & remain safe.”
