BOSTON (WLNE)– An expense to legislate sports wagering in Massachusetts is now headed to Gov. Charlie Baker’s desk.

” I am happy to reveal that the Sports Betting Conference Committee has actually reached an arrangement on legislation that will legislate betting on expert and college sports in Massachusetts, bringing the enormous financial advantages of a legal sports wagering market to Massachusetts,” Speaker Ron Mariano composed on Twitter.

The arrangement was reached Monday early morning, after an over night legal session on Beacon Hill.
