NEW SHOREHAM, R.I. (WLNE)– The New Shoreham Town Council will host a conference Thursday in reaction to the chaos that took place Monday.
According to the program, the council will “go over and act upon occurrences that took place on August 8, 2022 that needed authorities reaction.”
The call for the conference follows 7 individuals were jailed on the Block Island Ferryboat following a battle and another individual was jailed at Ballard’s for battling there.
The current event follows raucous habits that took place July 4.
Previously Monday, First Warden Andre Boudreau and Second Warden Sven Risom provided a a joint declaration calling the scenario stunning and saddening.
” We are stunned and saddened by the event on the Block Island Ferryboat last night and we value the work of the very first responders who did something about it to bring back order.
