2 males jailed after brawl on Block Island ferryboat set to appear in court

WAKEFIELD, R.I. (WLNE)– 2 males that were jailed after a brawl broke out on the Block Island ferryboat recently are set to appear in court.

Michael Carvalho, 26, of Providence and Miguel Silva, 36, of Pawtucket will deal with a judge Wednesday. Both males are charged with disorderly conduct.

Video shown ABC 6 News revealed numerous members of the U.S. Coast Guard leaping onto the ferryboat. Another video revealed a minimum of 3 males being accompanied off the ferryboat in handcuffs.

According to Rhode Island State Cops, the ferryboat was unscheduled however included due to the fact that of overcrowding.
